Being a Second Generation Painter & Decorator, I was lucky enough to be taught many things my competitors may lack. Not long after finishing my apprenticeship with my father Max Lantry, he retired and I took over the business. However with Max being in the painting game for most of his life, he was able to pass on the finer skills of the trade. In my early years of painting we worked mostly on repaints including a lot of heritage buildings, both residential and commercial. This taught me the skills and gave me the know how to do the preparation required to get the perfect results on a project. Over the years, and with a medium sized team of painters, we have branched out into many other areas in the trade including the new home market with some quality builders, repaints, domestic and commercial and small industrial jobs. I am also careful to keep a medium sized team so quality doesn’t suffer and I can still perform the labour myself as I still enjoy the trade.
Quality and reputation means everything to me and I believe it is this reason we have been in successful business since 1992.
